Airport shops and services
YLW offers passengers a number of shops, restaurants and services for your convenience.
Before security
Ellison Field Taphouse - The restaurant is open daily from 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Ellison Field Taphouse features beers from the BC Ale Trail and a menu consisting of contemporary appetizers, flatbreads, sandwiches, bowls, salads and more.
Tim Hortons - Open daily 4:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. for take out and dine in service. Tim Hortons offers premium coffee, flavoured cappuccinos, specialty teas, homestyle soups, fresh sandwiches and fresh baked goods.
After security
Coffee Caravan - Open daily from 3:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. serving Bright Jenny Coffee and a variety of baked goods in the YLW departures lounge.
Sandrine French Pastry & Chocolate - Sandrine at YLW is a Bakery ATM, restocked daily with a variety of offerings such as fresh pastries, sandwiches, cakes and macarons.
Subway - Open daily from 4:00 a.m. - 10 p.m. Subway serves made-to-order sandwiches, salads, wraps and soups.
Tim Hortons - Open daily 4 a.m. – 8 p.m. for counter service. Tim Hortons offers an express menu featuring premium coffee and fresh baked goods.
Vintners Exchange - Open daily from first to last flight, Vintners Exchange offers a sophisticated and locally curated selection of wines, beverages, handhelds, appetizers, soups, salads, and breakfast offerings. This new space is designed to warm and welcome, providing a comfortable environment that mirrors the charm of the Okanagan Valley. The look and feel of Vintners Exchange is consistent with the region, featuring a colour palette that represents our four distinct seasons.
White Spot Restaurant and Lounge - The restaurant is open daily from 4:00 a.m. – 11 p.m. *limited menu after 7:30 p.m.
Before Security
Skyway News - Located in the main terminal before security screening, Skyway News sells magazines, snacks and gifts. Open seven days a week from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
After Security
Okanagan Gifts – Located in the departures lounge, this retailer offers travel necessities, snacks, duty free products, local art and souvenirs. Open daily from 3:30 a.m. until the last flight departs. Okanagan Duty Free opens 90 minutes prior to international and transborder flights.
Okanagan Estate Wine Cellar – Located in the departures lounge, Okanagan Estate offers a selection of wines from the Okanagan's finest wineries.
Open seven days a week from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., wine shop hours are subject to change. When the wine shop is closed, all wines are available for purchase through the gift shop.
RBC ATM – Withdraw both Canadian and American money from the RBC ATMs located in the departures lounge.
The Wi-Fi is faster and still free. Recently, we upgraded the Wi-Fi so it's faster and easier to access from anywhere in the terminal.
Whether you're checking your work email or streaming cute animal videos, you'll have the convenience of being connected to a free and fast network.
Travelling with little ones? Our Family Adventure Zone offers a dedicated space for kids to play, explore, and unwind before takeoff. Designed with families in mind, this inviting area encourages active play while giving caregivers a comfortable place to relax nearby.
At the heart of the space is a tree-fort inspired play structure complete with a slide, alongside a cozy reading nook for quieter moments. Thoughtful touches throughout create a warm, nature-inspired environment that reflects the spirit of the Okanagan.

- Comfortable seating area with Adirondack-style chairs

YLW has over 100 volunteer Airport Ambassadors who perform a range of services from assisting people with disabilities to providing information on the community. They are positioned throughout the airport seven days a week, 365 days a year and can be identified by their red signature clothing to help travellers make full use of airport amenities.
YLW’s Ambassadog program helps soothe anxious travellers.
YLW brings trained Ambassador Dogs into the terminal to provide all airport users with a support service to help manage anxiety and stress associated with travelling.
Ambassadogs are easily identifiable with their YLW ID badges, and with their handler beside them. Led by an Airport Ambassador in a red coat, handlers can also help answer any travel questions you may have.
There are currently nine dogs who work at YLW, and are specially trained to be interacted with. The next time you are at YLW and want a little extra support, say hello to one of our friendly Ambassadogs.
Travelling with little ones comes with its own set of needs, and at YLW, we’re here to make that journey a little easier.
Located in the departures lounge beside the Fast Flow exit doors, our new Parenting Room offers a calm, private space for caregivers with infants and young children. Thoughtfully designed with comfort and convenience in mind, the room provides a quiet alternative to public washrooms—giving families the space they need to care for their children with ease.
This dedicated space is available for:
- Nursing and feeding
- Diaper changing
- Short-term care needs for infants and young children
Whether you’re preparing for takeoff or taking a moment to reset during your journey, the Parenting Room is here to support you and your family every step of the way.
