Want a chance to score an unforgettable trip while helping local aviation students take off? Kelowna International Airport’s annual Helicopter Golf Ball Drop and online silent auction are now open. All proceeds go towards the YLW Scholarship Fund helping remove financial barriers for students pursuing a career in aviation or aerospace.

Helicopter Golf Ball Drop

Purchase a raffle ticket to secure a ball in this year’s Helicopter Golf Ball Drop. Part of YLW’s Golf Classic occurring on June 18, numbered golf balls will be dropped from a helicopter, and the ball that lands closest to the target wins! Tickets are $25 each or 4 for $90.

 
Prizes:

  • Iconic Yukon travel experience – Sponsored by Air North
    • Valued at approximately $6,000, this grand prize includes round-trip airfare from Kelowna to Whitehorse and Dawson City, including curated one-of-a-kind experiences from Northern Vision Development, Northern Tales, and The Klondike Experience.
  • One roundtrip flight for two guests valid for travel to any Porter Airlines destinations
  • One roundtrip flight for two guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination

    The YLW online silent auction adds even more chances to support the YLW Scholarship Fund.
