As the 10th busiest airport in Canada, YLW welcomed 1.7 million passengers through its doors in 2022 and expects to see continued growth in 2023. In both 2018 and 2019, prior to Covid-19, YLW had over 2 million annual passengers.
In 2014, YLW was one of the single largest economic drivers for jobs and revenues in British Columbia’s southern interior, with a total economic impact of 4,545 jobs and $789 million in total economic output to the province. Organizations based at YLW directly produced over $152 million in GDP.
