The Kelowna International Airport (YLW) Travel Show is back. Bring the entire family to the KF Centre for Excellence on Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and explore a world of travel possibilities, aviation exhibits, facepainting and enter for a chance to win from more than $5,000 in prizes.
“This family friendly event is a great opportunity for Okanagan residents to talk to airlines, travel agents and learn more from airport staff about what to expect next time they travel through Kelowna International Airport,” said Sam Samaddar, Chief Executive Officer, Kelowna International Airport.
YLW and its partners are giving away flights, including:
- Pacific Coastal – roundtrip tickets for two
- Flair Airlines – roundtrip tickets for two
- Central Mountain Air – roundtrip flight for two
- Air North – roundtrip for one
- Porter – roundtrip tickets for two
- Condor – roundtrip ticket for one from Kelowna to Frankfurt
Ballots for the prize draws are $5 each or $20 for five tickets, or to win the grand prize of a flight to Frankfurt purchase a YLW Passport for $10. All funds raised will go towards the YLW Scholarship Fund.
At the YLW Travel Show, attendees can meet with air carriers and travel agents to get helpful travel tips to plan your next vacation. YLW staff will also be available to provide airport updates, including:
- Construction progress and upcoming projects
- Direct and connecting destinations accessible from YLW
- Ambassador and Ambassadog volunteer programs
Free parking will be available at YLW, and shuttles will be provided to transport attendees to the KF Centre for Excellence. Please follow signage and staff directions.
